The recreation of dinosaurs comes with many controversies. Many people are against the idea of it due to the possibility that they could break out and kill people. Others believe that there is no point in recreating dinosaurs just to put them in a zoo.

Animal rights activists such as PETA and ALF are generally against the idea of genetic enginneering of animals and keeping them in captivity, and they would likely oppose the idea of recreating dinosaurs.

Religious groups generally oppose the idea of resurrection and 'playing God'. They also believe that the evolutionary view of dinosaurs would disprove their spiritual beliefs. They would most likely be against the idea of (re)creating dinosaurs.
